Christmas Snowman

My kids gave their teachers a gift pail of snowmen cookies. They were really fun to make. The cookies turned out well and the kids were excited to take them to school the next day. The cookies this season have been so much fun!

Christmas - Candycanes

So I must be crazy, because I made seven-and-a-half DOZEN of these candycane cookies for a cookie exchange I'm going to tonight. I said I wouldn't do it, but even as the words were coming out of my mouth, my mind was whirring with what shape, design, and colors I was going to use. My sweet husband stayed up late last night helping me decorate them. He's becoming quite the cookie froster, I should give him a job!

Get ready for Summer!!

A couple of years ago a friend came to me and asked if I would put together a bouquet for her daughter's teacher for an end of the school year gift. I jumped at the idea! Since the school was year-round, it was at a time where everyone was getting ready for 4th of July celebrations. I made these cute star cookies with traditional teacher praises-for her teacher. If she wasn't teacher's pet before, I'm sure she was after giving this gift! A basket like this costs between $34.50-$46.00 depending on the amount of cookies.

CTR = Choose the Right Cookie

As a favor for my good friend, I made 60 CTR shields and number 8 cookies for her daughter's baptism luncheon. On the top is the final presentation, but while making them, I couldn't decide how creative to get. Down below I took a picture of my choices. I liked the Shield, so I left that alone, but I stewed over polka-dotting the number 8's. In the end, I went with the classic look. I didn't want them to look too busy.
